- Where Dit Dis?
This is my favorite mispronunciation by Cooper currently. It is the Cooper version of "Where is it?" or "Where did it go?" Go ahead and say it. It is addictive. I am just waiting for the day I slip up at work and say it in a conversation with someone. - I need my krill, where did the krill go?
Cooper is constantly asking what things do. For example, "what do fish do?" our answer swim in the water. "what do cars do?" our answer drive on the road. A few weeks ago Cooper was asking about whales and we somehow ended up in a discussion about whales eating krill. So every now and again Cooper will look at us and say, "I need my krill, where did the krill go?" - DON'T EAT MY TAIL!
Cooper is very much into roll playing these days. He will push a car around on the floor repeating lines from the Disney Pixar Cars movie, or push a Thomas the Tank Train on his track making up stories about the train falling off the track and crashing (this is only disturbing if you haven't watched the Thomas the Train show. All these trains ever do is fall off there track and crash into things). So last night Cooper is happily playing in his tub when he picks up his alligator and shoves a fishes tail in his mouth and yells, "DON'T EAT MY TAIL." He then proceeded to spend the next five minutes picking up all the fish in the tub, one by one, and shoving their tails in the alligators mouth, then he would pick up another fish and have it look at the alligator and yell "DON'T EAT MY TAIL." - Can I flash the toilet?
I will let you all have fun with that one.
and finally..... - If you're happy and you know it poop on the potty....
Yes, we have had success in all kinds of aspects in the bathroom. Our latest accomplishment was today, and I will let you guess what that accomplishment was. Needless to say we are well on our way to being fully potty trained. At home that is. I guess Cooper has no desire to stop what he is doing at school for any type of pottying. So why we are trying out big boy underwear with buzz light year on them tomorrow, Cooper is still in diapers at school. Small steps. We will get there eventually.
And just so there aren't any questions, it was Cooper that broke out in to song today. He has learned to sing the song, if you're happy and you know it clap your hands, except at school they make up things to be happy about and I guess today was the day that Cooper decided that it was time to be happy about things in the potty. And that makes Chris and I very happy parents.
